Hello, thank you for the video. I'm curious whether or not you might have any experience with sourcing wholesale either locally within Canada or in the U.S. from Canada? I notice a lot of wholesalers ask for a reseller permit #, and I just have no idea what the Canadian equivalent of that would be(?)

Looking to do my first RA haul in Canada. Ideally I would like to use my pc optimum points towards some if not all of my initial inventory. Do you ever shop using store rewards to help lower the cost of your bills, curious if this will cause any problems with submitting proof of purchase.

i am a bit confused. When you buy stuff at local stores, do you ship all the items to Amazon warehouse? Do you also take the shipping cost in account? since you are buying here and there, do you wait till you have all the goods and then ship them together? also, you can only sell on amazon,ca and not amazon, com?

Hi, Chris. I'm just a beginner at Amazon.

I want to try RA for the first time. However, I heard that if someone or the company of the product I'm going to sell on Amazon reports me for a fake product declaration, Amazon will lock my account. To unlock my account, Amazon will request the official invoice or confirmation letter from the original company, which they don't usually do.

    Is this true?
How do you deal with this problem?

    Thanks.

If you’re doing RA the receipt from the store will work if it clearly shows the item. Dollarstore receipt is too vague but places like Walmart are no problem

When you buy a product to resell on amazon do you use the product cost before tax or after tax to determine profit?

How do you know the cost of shipping to Amazon fba, when looking at products on the fly, so that you can determine your profit?

Thanks for the video. When it comes to getting 'ungated' on a product. i've seen the approval process you need to have an invoice from a distributor...is a retailer like 'walmart' considered a distributor so i can essentially buy 10 of the same item from them and use that for approval? Thanks.

I resell books full time yes; toys and grocery you definitely can, but you’d probably want to open some wholesale accounts!

Is there a difference between selling on eBay or Amazon?

Cant find an answer on these items,
    1. If you send an item into amazon category already there and say Amazon has a stock of 100. When does your item get sold? After all existing stock of that item is sold prior to yours? Ex. If I send a board game in, how does amazon decide what retailer item is sold and in what order?

retail arbitrage opportunities (in-store or online) are few and far apart in Canada, we simply don't have the retail offering and competition that the Americans have; it's even worst now during the pandemic where everything is close. I'm not saying it's impossible, I've done a few very profitable arbitrage flips myself both in-store and online, but they are few and far apart.

If I’m being honest I’ve had a lot of success here in Canada. Lots of opportunity. Plus you can use the states too with a prep Center just calculate the extra cost in your sourcing. :)

Hey my dude a few questions...
    Are you 'Individual' or 'Professional'?
    Have you become Incorporated?
I'm going to be selling my childhood toys on eBay but was thinking to start flipping on Amazon...
Have never done anything like this so kind of intimidated to try this(though I know there's money to be made, and I could use some more money)

Professional makes the most sense if you plan on selling much. $1 per item adds up quick. I was a sole prop until last week, now Corp.

Whats your average shipping rate to a AZ warehouse in the US? is it much more expensive per lb than shipping to Canadian warehouses?

    • The Casual Flipper - Mladek
The Casual Flipper - Mladek  10 aylar önce

I don't ship for this reason. It's drastically more expensive. There are options in Ontario; but expensive in most provinces.

Nice to see Canadian brother. Now how u list these items on Amazon. Whenever I list an item on Amazon it says you cannot list this item because you are not a brand owner and get registered with brand registry OR you need a letter of authorization from the brand. Kindly guide and assist me. Thank and stay safe.

@The Casual Flipper - Mladek i have a question, should I apply for tax exemption in Ontario even if I haven’t made more than 20k in sales? Or would it be a waste to do so? I would like to get ungated but most suppliers require me to be a registered business with tax exemption. :/ your response would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Canada sucks. I live here and I’m unable to “buy shipping” thru Amazon because it always says that there isn’t any carrier that are partnered with Amazon. I barely make any good profit because the shipping cost so much !

@The Casual Flipper - Mladek I was wondering about your video while actually in the store still, scanning with Scoutly, cog at zero.

    • The Casual Flipper - Mladek

Because I buy pallets; I already own the books technically. And I always get a different amount; so I don’t know my cogs until after everything is scanned.
