My interview went horrible and I had the minimum shadowing hrs. I got accepted but I've been doing x ray for 4 years, i think my experience dealing with patients won it for me. I also only had a 3.7 GPA.

Thanks! Your videos are great, but can do you do a video talking about how to know if PA is for you? vs. M.D. or N.P.?

You aren't kidding, being a waitress for years really did teach me how to talk to and approach people. :)

You posted this in 2013 and might not be available but i'll ask anyway. I have a Business degree and I want to become a PA after being a Medic in the military. Do I stand a good chance of getting in PA School without a science degree?

I just got accepted into PA school and am wondering if there's anything I should be doing before to prepare myself. Obviously I'm not going to go crazy but maybe I should be looking at pharmacology books just to be more familiar or something?

Hey John! I am currently in a radiologic technologist school at a hospital, it is going great, but I also want to advance to a Physician Assistant. I will be done with this program when I am 25. I lack one year of a bachelor's degree. Does GPA have a great pull on PA acceptance to a program, or would thousands of hospital hours as a radiologic technologist help just as much. I had a 4.0 GPA until I went to UAH trying to get a degree in engineering as well as accounting years back, it was extremely hard. I made maybe 3 C's when I was there brought my GPA to about a 2.8... I'm just so distraught about that. The University is known as one of the best engineering schools in the nation. The PA position just looks so diverse and leaking with excitement, oh I would give my left arm to work alongside a surgeon to possibly save someone's life.

My Science GPA should be around a 3.8 as well. Business Statistics and Business Calculus II are what brought my grade tumbling down, along with some harder Accounting classes. I hate that happened but I can't go back! I'll just have to do what you recommended! Thank you...

Hey thank you so much for sending me all this information! I plan to finish my bachelor's. I have to have about 12 more classes and 6 to 8 classes will bring it back up to a 3.0 that's if I make A's in every one, but I can do it. Would that make me more acceptable if I was already a working Radiologic Technologist at a hospital for a couple years, and then applied to the program with all that experience and a 3.2 hopefully after my 12 classes?

Wish it was that easy of the odds. Places I'm applying to, over 2,000 applicants and they only take 50-90 students per year
