    if you want to save half the commission, this guy is right & use a listing only MLS broker & then offer 2 or 2.5% to whoever brings you the right buyer. Most likely, your best buyer is already working with someone to help find them a home & they're under a contract to buy a home through that agent if they're using the agent's services

    I selling my home for 608,000 and 2 percent is still almost 15000 dollars which is a crazy amount for commission. The problem is that the agents will block the buyers from even viewing the home if you are not offering commission to them. Most of the time they have a agreement with the buyer that makes them liable for the commission if the seller is not offering any which is still a double edged sword. You are kind of forced to pay them on your end to make the deal work.

    Hello Robert, thanks for being honest on this, I am a seller, I have been listening to this Borino and he is just convincing sellers to go with a realtor, I have made many real estate transactions and have very close realtors friend, is true most only want the listing to sit on their ass to send buyers and realtor to see the house, they give the combination and that is all what they do lately, at least in my cases, I know you are a good Realtor and will keep being one, after all is easy money for them.

    The entire system needs to be reformed. How can home prices increase when wages have not increased and theres more inflation ? Who is to stop you from creating a free MLS list ? Why are realtors allowed to turn away a first offers just because the 2nd offer is easier paperwork...should be illegal. Higher bids is a auction...should be illegal.

    IM NOT PAYING ANYONE TO FIND ME A BUYER OR ADVERTISE ON THE MLS FOR ME. PRIVATE MEANS PRIVATE PUT A SIGN OUT AND WAIT ON THAT ONE BUYER. DONT BE IN A HURRY TO SELL.
